Does your pool pump need an upgrade? Whether it’s because your old one is cactus, or you’re looking for more energy efficient options, we know there are a few great reasons you should choose an Eco Pump!

  1. If you’re looking for an energy efficient option, an Eco Pump can save you money in the long term, whilst also reducing electricity use, which is great for the environment.
  2. Eco Pumps have 3 speeds, making them more energy efficient by only operating at high speed during vacuuming and backwash, whilst the low speed is used most of the time, during the filtration process. Slower speeds mean less work for the pump and therefore less electricity being consumed.
  3. The additional benefit of a pump with multiple speeds is that it also runs quieter than most standard pumps! This is particularly helpful if the pump is near your house, or near the neighbours!
  4. We sometimes find that a standard pump produces poor suction for cleaners, as the pump only runs at the one speed. An Eco Pump, on the other hand, has variable speeds that allow cleaning to occur on the highest speed, resulting in a more effective clean.
  5. Eco Pumps are also known as a better-quality pump overall, so if you’re looking for a pump that’s durable in any conditions, an Eco Pump may be the best option for you. Standard pumps are generally made from more lower quality products, in order to meet that lower price-point.

With so many perks, there is the reality that Eco Pumps are more expensive upfront than a standard pump. Over time though, you can expect the additional costs of your pump to be covered by the reduction of power costs, so if you can afford the upfront costs, we think an Eco Pump is the way to go!
